Of course Eugene goes down the pole that gracefully. The average person would experience that scene from the 90s movie Rocket Man where he struggles down the pole. "The flesh! It burns!"

Rachel saying be careful and the guys calling her mom was so cute. Zach carrying out the victim felt so right, I was so proud of him.

Zach was great at communicating in the simulations. If it weren't for his pole slide and frail health, I'd say he was the best firefighter.

Where I work we have an annual 1 day basic firefighting training and all employees must participate at least once. This year I decided to join and it was the most physically demanding day of my whole life. We were taught how to extinguish fires using hosts and whatever available water supply. We had to go down a 4 story building using just ropes and basic rope skills. First aid, how to take care of burn wounds, and all that. After that day every time a firetruck/man in firefighter uniform passes by I just silently pray over them because I cannot imagine working everyday like that. Thank you for being real life heroes.

Keith: oh wow it's kind of pretty up here
Keith's hand: *gripping so hard his fingers are white around his wedding ring*

We had a massive house fire when I was a kid. Not only did the firefighters save our home, but they made sure all of our animals got out safely, and even went the extra mile and gave my dogs water to drink. Some of the nicest and most selfless people I have ever met. Thank you for all that you do firefighters ❤

I LOVE this. Please…..Try being flight attendants for the day. I know that would be super difficult to arrange but…. So worth it. Maybe you could just go to a training facility and see what it takes. We do….firefighting, restraint/self defence, emergency procedures, evacuating 300+ people in 90 seconds, aviation medicine, and so much more!

My dad was a firefighter/paramedic when I was a young kid, and I loved going to visit him at the fire station where he'd let me and my siblings climb on the trucks and slide down the pole with us in his arms. It was also nice that he only had to work every third day (one 24-hour shift and then 2 days off). That said, it was a bit scary knowing that he was going into dangerous situations. The movie Backdraft came out during that time, so that was an extra vivid visualization of how my dad might have met his end.

I feel like the firefighters had just as much fun as the TryGuys did. Fabulous episode.

I remember when I was a kid my Girl Scout troop volunteered to help with a firefighter training at our local firestation. They set up a fake car crash, and we had to lie on the ground at the scene of the "accident" and pretend to be unconscious so they could practice approaching the scene to get us to safety.

Zach's descent down the pole will be the best short ever; starting with Eugene's "You're stickier than you think!" And ending with Keith's NOPE. 😂

Why does Keith actually look like a firefighter?

As someone who is disabled and has chronic pain like Zach, Im so impressed that he was able to fully go through with the day! I hope he wasnt too sore the next day 😅
