Genshin is the only game I've played THIS long and I'm still not burnt out or tired of it. I was, however, felt like the support I was giving to the game wasn't being reciprocated or at least felt that the devs isn't doing enough to give/show gratitude to its loyal players. But with the upcoming anniversary gifts and stuff, yeah it feels great! Everybody loves free gifts and I think you'd be lying if you said otherwise.

I am happy to see how they integrate all their new quality life features from HSR and now ZZZ to Genshin. But my only problem that thing for crafting a piece of artefact ends up kinda useless implement, because it still rolls into random stats from HSR experience. So if they don't provide an opportunity to buy like once per month this thing for ingame currency, it could get another backlash.
Also glad to hear you will be returning to making GI content, because I am kind of not interested in gatchagames not from Hoyo, and since I subscribed to you because you are the only YTer whos opinion in builds I share and trust.

5.0 livestream made me excited for genshin again after a loooong time, last time i was excited for a new version was inazuma since the game was fairly new but the archon quest disappointed me. Hope this archon quest is a banger like sumeru and fontain.

Glad to see you back, you dont have to force genshin content if you dont like to but i would hope to see some account reviews again in the future, i love seeing strong/weak/wacky stuff people are trying to cook up :D

I love this game as well, i have been playing it since day 1 and although i did have my share of complaints i will probably never quit playing it. I don`t really see it as being a gacha game because you can literally play through the game for free and enjoy everything that the game has to offer . I see it more like a masterpiece, story, music and the quality overall it is just at so high level and i do no see any other game keeping up with that, being gacha or not. Also i miss my streamers, one of them being Tenha, hopefully you will be back together with Nathlan so i can laugh at your 50/50 loses with you and to have the best explained character`s skills and potential with or without constelations.

I really hope in the next patch in natlan which is 5.1 til 5.8 would add the things that we wanted, especially now the producer on genshin has changed now being liu wei taken the position after Cai haoyu resigned on his position.

I'm excited with 5.0 update, because of QoL improvement, such like artifact selector, WL 9, reduced fate point weapon banner. That's really good for me as an old player from 1.0

Tbh I think it's important to consider that Hoyo also takes into account how their other games are doing at a moment.

Genshin typically makes all its major system changes on every X.0 Version, with very minor tweaks throughout subsequent versions
HSR had quite a lot of optimizations at the start, and has gradually added less QoL changes (as issues also diminish)
ZZZ is kind of following suit with how early HSR was as well (personally feels a little too early to say that definitively)

Everyone has been hounding for "Self Modeling Resin" in Genshin ever since HSR came out. But even then, I don't know if I would've been satisfied with it if they just slapped it into the Genshin. We're able to select 2 substats in addition to the main, we can craft the elixirs by foddering off leveled trash artifacts, find them in the overworld, etc. It would make sense to use feedback from their other titles to fix issues for an addition before we can complain about it. Now since they've been a little open to addressing gameplay issues lately, I think there's a lot more hope across the board for them.
