building off another comment, dog tags could be used for bounties on players. You could probably find an NPC at bandit or something and set a bounty on a player similar to a vending machine where you can set a price/item as a reward for killing them. Then other players can talk to that NPC and check which bounties are available and their rewards, and they can accept a mission to kill a certain player. If you bring their dog tags to that NPC you'll get the reward that the original player set out for that mission.

The one thing they need to fix is make looking in a dark area from a light area. Right now if you are in the light, the dark area is light and Vice versa.
