Leslye Headland just made a fool of Kathleen Kennedy when she lied about The Acolyte

Leslye Headland was at Star Wars Celebration selling her new Star Wars show The Acolyte. And boy! Did we learn a lot about her knowledge of Star Wars and her willingness to bend the truth to get a big pay cheque. But it’s not exactly the first time she has done that, is it?.

I grew up watching the original trilogy, and when i was 14, The Phantom Menace came out. At one point my best friend and I could do the entire fight scene between Kenobi and Maul full speed with broomsticks, just to give a hint of some context on how it impacted my life. I have been a fan of Star Wars my entire life, and now I have absolutely no desire to see any new Star Wars show or film. Thank you Disney

I looked up that lady. She has writing and directing credits. Of 13 shows and or movies that have all flopped or essentially been cancelled due to poor quality and bad consumer reviews.

I was unaware of most of her dealings in Hollywood. All i knew was she was Harvey's assistant. That was enough to be skeptical of her innocence in the whole ordeal. It's likely she knew what was going on and probably facilitated it to some degree.

Star Wars was huge in my childhood. At one point in my life I was able to recite the original trilogy movies almost word for word. I read the dark horse comics had all the toys played all the games. I had really hoped to share my passion of Star Wars with my kids when they were little. I seen all the Disney Star Wars movies on release date and decided it’s not even worth wasting my kids time introducing them to this or the previous series knowing how Disney changed it. For what Disney did to obi wan, boba fett, Luke skywalker and the original cast of the movies, and now mando!? they should be ashamed of themselves.

When I was born I had some deficiencies, I had problems with my internal organs and to fix this a couple years later I had to have surgery which lead to having a disfiguring scar my entire life on the right side of my stomach which I still try to hide, but that’s not the point of this story. I can still remember being woken up in the hospital surrounded by flowers and Star Wars toys, the next 20 years would be dedicated to everything Star Wars, and then Disney took over… And now I can’t even look at the fuckin’ thing anymore without feeling disgusted, I haven’t lost interest, their stories are reused unoriginal trash for kids with hidden political messages, this isn’t what George would’ve wanted.
