Psychopaths and narcissists have a lot of traits in common. However, in my view, Trump falls more on the psychopathic side. Pathological lying is much more common in psychopathic individuals. Trump exhibits the emotional poverty of the psychopath. And one more for good measure: psychopaths will blame others for their failures, never accepting blame themselves.

I rest my case. Trump's not a classic narcissist; he's a classic psychopath.
