Wichmann is a really good nursery, I got four young plants from them about a month ago. Very healthy and nice looking, potted in decent media and good prices. I got young plants, but one of them, the Onc. sotoanum already grew a spike. Very pleased with them, and I hope the plants will do good for you :)

I think you are the 1st person I've seen that's pronounced the 'vuylstekeara' pretty much 'bang-on' - I usually have several goes before it comes out right. Those are well packaged - I might try them as the orchids look pretty good too. After your Tiny Twinkle ahs got out in the air for a few days and gets near some bright light, you should get the fragrance. My Shelob still hasn't bloomed, but it's still quite young - maybe soon? Some very good plants!

Hey there I am currently researching about orchids for a project in university and "stumbled" about this unboxing-video of yours. I hope its ok if I ask you some questions :-), if you dont like to answer those feel free to just ignore my comment. Am I right when I suggest that you are from the US? For me its very interessting that you are purchasing orchids from a german gardener . I heard from them myself and I am living not so far away from their shop. I would be interessted why you choose to buy from them. Are the orchids in that good condition? Or are there not that many shops for orchids in the Us with that various kinds of orchids? And I would be interessted in how much the import of orchids from germany costs?

What are the containers you are using for semi hydro? I use 32 oz deli containers and I need something bigger for some.

I just got live Spanish moss in my orchid mail too. Do you know if Wichmann ship international (to the US)?
