Your work brings back the magic of those tender years. I close my eyes and find myself drifting back to a certain moment and time, sitting in front of the old B&W TV in the back room watching "The Monkees" and staying up the entire night singing their songs with my close friends. This tune is my favorite Davy tune as a Monkee. It's better than "I Wanna Be Free". It's a darn shame they didn't highlight this song on any Monkee TV show episodes!!!! They lost a great chance by not doing that. This tune is the only tune they didn't use on the show in any musical spot, sorry to say. What A Waste!!!! "I Wanna Be Free" was NOT a love song!!!! Why did they push it? "I'll Be True To You" could have been used in MANY Davy-related love scenes with pretty girls on the show (IMO). Man, we're those TV Execs stupid back then!!!!

Hi Kenn. I also want to commend you on your amazing digital enhancements of my all time favorite band, the Monkees. I was surfing one day and came upon your version of Sometime in the Morning. Without knowing about your work, I was instantly amazed at the above average audio quality. I thoroughly enjoy ALL the songs you enhance. REQUEST: I am looking for a decent version of Beautiful City from Godspell the Movie (1973) - not the Broadway production(s). There seem to be many versions. Even the DVD release apparently was only released in mono. Thanks in advance. And keep up the fantastic work!

Written for The Hollies by Gerry Goffin and Russ Titelman as Yes I Will. Not a bad version at all. I've been downloading songs from YouTube for a couple of years now, and I often come across cover songs of Hollies records. I haven't found one yet I truly disliked which is a testament to the quality of their recordings, whether written by them or for them.

The bass line and mickeys drumming simple but you know his eyes is closed either rocking forward or side to side no doubt if you are a drummer u fet that but there not the greatest but there musicality speaking simple riffs and drumming is dope but im sorry davey jones cant sing sing that much but i get it thats not how he got his claim to fame mad davey jones die hards in the comments
