Europeans are usually super chilled about their "shock". Americans on the other hand will be on their phones steaming live "oh my gohhhdd I can't believe they have cars, oh my gohhhdd I can't believe everyone is like wearing clothes, this is insane, ohh gohhhdd". Ok the red light thing is if you’re a woman alone after 11pm then you can treat a red traffic light like a 4-way stop. But like if you’re a car full of beefy dudes you probably do it too. Like you’re a sitting duck waiting for a smash and grab otherwise (well I presume that’s the reasoning)

I'm from Brazil and when I show Brazil by Google Maps to Europen they don't believe in the Maps. Hahaha
Once I used the Google to show my city to a French woman. She got very surprised and she said: "your city is very developed. It's Brazil?"
