Consistency to everything is the key. I work on myself first thing in the morning. Thank you so much for this free video.

Many moons ago, in the army, I got into trouble, and ended up brought before my commanding officer to explain my behaviour. After I finish, he leaned back and exhaled. "I didn't understand a word you said." I was 19, and his words still ring clearly in my memory, the summer of 75. I knew i to improve my vocabulary, and my attitudes towards people. And so l began reading out-loud everyday, for approximately 5 mins. People listen when I speak when I perform on stage.

I just wanted to bring my voice back to me. Im a good speaker when i was teenager. I just suddenly got brain aneurysm last 5 yrs that affected my speech. I got improved though, but still stuttering and lack of vocabulary words when im talking to someone. This is my worse problem that i have for yrs.

You are very amazing. I am 28 years old (with ADHD & Asperger) and am utterly good in my line of work (engineer) but have immense troubles at speaking. Stuttering a lot and have an anxious voice.
What bothers me is the chest feeling. It truly feels like a giant claw grabbing my whole chest. Never have I ever spoken like you did in the video. It breaks my heart. The claw feeling is always present when I open my mouth. May I ask what kind of training I need to perform at home to enhance my voice without having anxious feelings?

Update: I'm 30 years old as writing this update. So much has changed in my life. I've, in the last 15 months alone, transformed from the anxious, stuttering, nervous type to a confident, fluent, high maintenance, successful and ambitious person.
I seriously wish someone, whether a mentor, a family member or anyone told me about this. But even if they did, I don't believe I would have taken their advice seriously. Such lessons require individual experiences. Unfortunately, I learned it from the hard way. (Perhaps, fortunately since I'm really happy to share it with you.)
The truth is, there wasn't really any method. Or any guide to follow.
It started out as an experiment which in the end, got me far ahead.
It is; Forcing myself to do even the most embarrassing things I thought was cringe or ultra embarrassing. Singing, talking (even though, people gets annoyed with your voice), make contact and present yourself, attend to yoga sessions. (These are indeed a number of examples and mostly personal. The important thing is to seek, find and combat those things that you find as a blockage.) I understood that my mind fetched all the negativity from the environment. All the successful people, other people with high degrees that looked down to you. Seriously toxic people around me. It was truly a sign of the insecurity within myself. To break this very barrier required tons of forcing. I came to a point where I combatted with myself. There was my true self in one corner and the negative self in the other.
I did this on daily basis for almost a year. I got the result already in November 2021 (about 6 months ago). Currently, I'm only polishing and the polishing is a permanent process that will continue forever. Because I know and understood well enough that if I let myself go, I will undoubtedly go back to the dark days.
Perhaps I could create some videos and share my experiences with you. There are so much that can't possibly be in this comment.
Take care you all.

Exercises to start with:
Do Lip trills and vocal fry 5 - 10 mins for each a day and you'll see a noticeable improvement. I've been singing for about 2 years and i still use these exercises.

There, now you have no excuse. Go out and make a joyful sound!
