Green Day - St. Jimmy (Insomniac Version)

This one has been on my mind. It's been for quite some time. The fast paced sound of St. Jimmy always reminded me of Insomniac; specifically, Jaded (my beloved). It's just so aggressive and bold sounding, it fits so well. Tried the same recording techniques I did with the Rusty James outtake. Turned out very well.

Insomniac and American Idiot are my top 2 favorite Green Day albums. I absolutely love the song writing of American Idiot and the aggressive tone of Insomniac. These two albums I listened to over and over again in high school (long after they’d been released lmao). I am officially stating that I plan on making all of American Idiot in the style of Insomniac. Wish me luck.

For drums.. you can guess what songs I used. haha.
For guitar, I used my Squier Stratocaster Affinity with a Seymour Duncan JB pickup modded into it (not angled). For bass, I used my Sterling Stingray Ray4.
