The narcissist will do this in case you ever show up to set things straight. By the time you try to have your voice heard, the narcissist's spellbound circle of followers will already have been turned to the dark side. No one will believe your story because the narcissist smear campaign works as designed. So it's best to avoid places where you know the narcissist and their flying monkeys and blind followers will be hanging out. You don't wanna be anywhere near that scene.

When u belong to the same social cycle, it sucks. I probably wouldn't go either. But I cannot deal with the thought that the predator can go anywhere & I hide myself. We have to find a way to deal with that shit & his / her flying monkeys

100%. My sister who is 3 years older than me, and was always jealous and my abusive mom, have so many members of my moms side of the family I was a liar. Those people who believed their lies, I always figured, one day they will see what they said about me did not match my personality or character. Nope. Why spread the lies? Because I was honest, and they were afraid I would tell all of the family about the abuse. I never did....and they still back my sister and believe I am a liar.🤯
Not one ever came to me to actually get to know me. Im 56 and my only family since my father died that Ive had is my other half.
