HTML & CSS Tutorial #1: Introduction

An introduction to what this tutorial series is going to be about and the languages we'll be using.

Another thing, make sure you dedicate to a single series since you're redoing so many! Personally, if I started as many playlists as you are, I might forget that one is unfinished or progress in one far more than the other etc. Regardless, all-in-all you're an amazing teacher and I look forward to future lessons!

Great videos! Keep going, you have a lot of playlists that I would love to check out! just hopefully when they're complete-- I recommend pre-recording a lot of them and uploading them at once so people don't forget about them while waiting a week for the next one. Then again the con with that is if someone corrects you or asks something you won't address it in the next video etc.
Then again you could make a bonus video Q&A etc. That would be new and amazing!

@NinjaKeyboard I have indeed. I'm re-doing the vast majority of video tutorials (and a lot of text tutorials for that matter) to make them more professional and easier to understand. You might also notice that this tutorial seems a little more geared to absolute beginners than before (although that's always been my aim) - this is also part of the plan. A "secret" feature will launch soon which will help out if you find these basic tutorials too patronising.

So it is, I completely forgot about the HTML5 'section' element while recording this video. Just as well though, the idea of this video wasn't to introduce any elements, but instead to just introduce some of the core concepts. Also, just as a note, this series probably won't cover any of the new HTML5 elements until way later on.

@villaboy96 Haven't planned any in the immediate future since there isn't really much to teach after the basics apart from all the different method names (which can be found in the jQuery documentation). Perhaps some time in the future though.

i think dreamweaver is pretty bad. my school uses it, but that's only because all of the computers use windows xp. also, it ONLY supports html and css. so c++ or Javascript users, i hope you enjoy this PAID ide even though you can get sublime text for free.
