So Boone was a player, he hit a clutch shot in 2003 for the Yankees as a player, has had a winning career as a manager for the NYY. Would you all agree these are some of the things that landed him an interview with the Yankees for the managerial role. He aced it and impressed his employer over Willie and others and that’s all great. We all have to agree that he does not play the game, the players have to show up on the field. However- as a NYY fan, the ONE thing that matter is a championship! That’s it. But you need the DNA of a Jeter, Kobe or Jordan who hate losing more than love winning. I ask you all, who in that clubhouse is 4 or 5 of that type of DNA. Also, is Boone the right person to continue leading this team if they do not win this season????
