How Dangerous is a Slingshot?

Also I tried going with no background music at all. The reason I did this it's because it gives a more chill/raw vibe to the content but let me know what you think.

When i was a kid we always have those wooden slingshots and use stones for ammo. One time my dad saw me using the slingshot aiming at the mango fruit from the tree hoping it will fall down and I could eat it. Then my dad told me that i shouldn't aim for the fruit, as it will damage it, and that I should aim for the stalk/stem of the fruit instead. I laughed because the stem was too little of a target so I thought he was joking. Then he grabbed the slingshot, loaded it up, and with one shot, he hit the stem and the fruit fell to the ground. My jaw dropped and was so amazed to see that.

Man, I gotta say, the subtle comedy work in these is 1000% on point. The basket ball gag, the controller gag, even the under the desk crying one, not overly long, hits the landing, and doesn't seemed forced in the slightest. Its what really sets these videos apart from other creator youtubes. Seriously good work man....the slingshot stuff was cool too I guess

I've had a few slingshot that I made as a kid, I'm 68, tree branches and bicycle tire tube cut in strips. Then, I graduated to store bought kind, it was called the Wrist Rocket. I enjoyed this very much.

Great video. We had homemade slingshots as boys using very heavy rubber bands. The slingshots were carved using a natural “Y” shaped branch. Because we were boys with lots of time on our hands we became deadly accurate with them. I recall that they could punch a marble through a glass bottle without shattering the glass - just two neat holes.

There was a slingshot made back in the '70s called a Wrist Rocket. The ammo was steel balls. Very lethal. They were eventually banned from being sold but I think they are now being sold again

Balloon + bottle mouth + rubber band + child = absolute fun

It's practically the advanced version that we did as children, it brought back memories.

it wasn't the scope, it just couldn't handle the slowness and heavy drop of the projectile.
You'd need a canted mount that points it down a few degrees, they're really common to use on air rifles.
In air rifles it's referred to as 'barrel droop' in the US. Break-barrel air rifles tend to lose elevation over time so that led to scope mounts with an angle.
