Medical Detection Dogs

Dogs are trained to discriminate the target odor (Hypoglycemic sample, seizure sample, emotion, prostate cancer, etc...) amongst other smells.
Medical Mutts specializes in the training of diabetes alert dogs, seizure alert dogs and other medical detection dogs. Also involved in research for different institutions, Medical Mutts trains the dog to be capable of performing without the trainer in the room. This way, they make sure the dog isn't cueing off the trainer and can only rely on smell to resolve the task.
In two peer review study, Medical Mutts contributed to proving the ability of dogs to detect hypoglycemic samples as well as seizure samples.
