I would never have believed the lure was acting that way without the video. Thanks for taking the time to record and post that.

Steve, your videos and this type of video is most helpful to us amateurs, in other words your on the right track, what type of camera do you have? 😊

Awesome tip as usual, thanks Steve. I like the combination of finesse and power fishing, so I'm thinking of doing the slackline shaking, then doing a big hop to trigger reaction bites and cover more water.

Steve, if you use a snapping technique there will be several of those initial falls, well, falls during that 30-40 yard cast!

Hi Steve. Nice work bud. You saying to encourage someone is and has been my MO for decades. I'm ex salmon/steelhead guide so ya I have helped many catch their first and spread the disease very generously. Keep on keepin on brother, 👊

Thanks, I caught more doing this; yesterday and this morning. You just up'd my entire jig/bottom game sir ... permanently! It made me remember the "stitching" retrieve; inches at a time ... by hand.

I'm super good at what I call shaking in place and or dragging never considered simply turning the reel slowly from you video it makes the presentation look so natural will definitely give it a try

Thanks for the video...great tips....I fish a jig often. It's one of my go to baits, but I do find it hard to slow down. I will make it a point to try this technique next time I'm out.

Great suggestion their. I love tickling my line. We you make a cast wait for the drop wen at the bottom keep a bow in your line and flick (tickel ) your line. That slight movement is realy effective. Thanks for all the great tips.

Excellent advice, I've been trying to slow myself down, actually seeing the realism of the subtleness should finally get me there. Appreciate the effort you put into these videos!

Bet this would be great motion on a shakey head too!

Always do the very slow retrieve. Gets me the most bites.

I had a saltwater fish repeatedly following my jig but not taking.
I was on a jetty so I could see the fish and jig.
I gave the jig the tiniest of movements on the bottom.
It got bitten.

Hey Steve thanks for the video hey Steve I've seen other angler's doing what you where doing twitching there rod like that I've also seen other angler's putting the line in there hand and keeping the line in there fingers and moving it meanwhile keeping the lure in place to intise them into bitting . Thanks for the great videos as always god bless you and your family. Ps really fantastic videos. I'll try to ask good questions from you.
