Mike nailed it, the front three need to create, their starting position is irrelevant. When they do not have the ball, they need to cover an area and press. Antonio is the natural player that has to give way, as he is limited in capabilities upfront. It is the movement of the players upfront that will replace Antonio and be more effective.

For me it's criminal we're not trying to bring in Mubama. But to the question, I'd rotate Antonio and Soucek and use which ever one suits our tactics for the opposition as Mike said. It's not a straight one or the other. One will probably make more sense against a particular opponent.

I would personally like to see Kudus with Soucek rather than with Antonio personally. I think a fit and fresh Mickey would scare the beejesus out of the opposition defence with 20-30mins left to play. They tiring and he's piling on the pressure. That's not something that Soucek can do really

Antonio on the bench and both Bowen and Kudus can alternate both the wing and centre forward position, stretching their markers .... we must get Kudus to develop an understanding with the likes of Bowen, Alvarez, Paqueta and Ward Prowse ... with all those pressing there are a bag full of goals every game ... and by the way Antonio or Mubama comes on after 70 mins, that's as much as they can hope for this season.

Kudus in for Antonio in a False 9 setup. Simple, no? The #9 drops back centrally to receive the ball. Kudus can undoubtedly move the ball forward, etc. Antonio on as an impact sub. I'd be pleased to give that a shot.

Antonio as an alternative impact sub later in the game.

Paqueta has the most accurate through balls in the league this season where he's played on the left

I think we now have a viable Plan A and a viable Plan B. Plan A currently involves Antonio and Souček. Plan B involves Kudus replacing Antonio and possibly another attacking player replacing Souček. I think we could soon switch our Plan B to being our Plan A, especially in the five "easier" games against Villa.

Paqueta is not only our best central midfielder but also our best left midfielder. His interplay with Emerson is something Benrahma can only dream about

Kudus plays on left, Bowen on right and Paqueta comes into the number 10 spot supporting Antonio sacrificing Soucek.with JWP and Alvarez - effectively a 4-4-2 that’s my view anyway.

I think Moyes would be reluctant to start his best attacking side, with Antonio, Kudus and Bowen up front, because what should he do to change the game if they´re behind? Kehrer and Dinos won´t make any difference. Neither will Benny or Pablo probably. On the other hand, if he starts with a midfield of JWP, Alvarez and Soucek, he can play Paqueta as a 10, with two of Kudus, Bowen and Antonio up front. Personally I would like to see the movement and interchange of Bowen, Kudus and Paqueta, with Antonio as an impact sub.

Kudus is never a player to bench, look at the damage in ajax when he left, one man carried ajax on his shoulders...he is way better and does not need to be benched!

Look I'm 58 and I can tell the day off the same 11 starting every game have gone it now a Squad game were you play you best team to complete with the operation. Kudus will start league game he has started cup and European games. And Remember we are playing 50 plus games for me it not in and out it fiting the jigsaw puzzle together that counts

Antonio has to make way. He'll be replaced by a Steidtman striker in the very, very near future anyway.

Babbling, a good channel that sticks roughly to the present topics but on this occasion, the Kudus thing is pointless. Moyse prefers defence and low block first 2nd & 3rd. He will NEVER rotate Bowen or Soucek as they r both his sons. 😢 Antonio is starved of ball and the same will happen to Kudus. For now, Kudus comes off da bench in the Prem. It's not a Moyse trait to rotate. He uses as few players as possible in the Prem. He does not have the intelligence or footballing IQ to change the system (STYLE) of Football or he prefers to win ugly.

I'd actually like to see Mubama instead of Mickey for a game too to see how he fares. Perhaps in a cup game or one of the latter group euro games. He needs to know he does have a place in our squad, or he'll be off.

Drop alvarez to center back together with zuoma. in Ajax, he played a lot of matches as center back. Play Soucek and JWP in midfield. Kudus as a 10, Bowen to the right, paqueta to the left and Antonio up front.

Bowen will become our new striker ...

Kudus on the bench criminally profligate. False 9 works well when Soucek, Paqueta, Bowen, JWP & Antonio. Mikes point. Now coaching is a must for different opposition tactics⚒️🫧COYI🫧⚒️

The club will play about 50 games this season and with suspensions, injuries and fatigue all the players will get game time and these games will prove who plays where !!!

Mike, when u say "Moyse does not trust Mubama or Ings", it sounds as if he believes they are rubbish, full of mistakes and with wrong attitude. Instead of using "trust", suggest that Moyse does not need their attributes or way of playing.
