In short conclusion of the discussion is
Stay in USA if you don't like relatives
Stay in India if you like relatives and social life.

We moved back 3 years back to India (Banglore) after living in California (san jose) for 10 years. I stayed for 10 years and my husband stayed for 14 years. We moved back on 10th May 2021 at the peak of corona time both in USA and India. It was a such thrilling and adventurous journey back to India that a proper movie can be made of the series of encounters that we faced during the period of March 2021 to October 2021. That time of our life was so unforgettable. If you call us for podcast we will be happy to share exciting and crazy rollercoaster of our moving back to India. It will be standalone comedy that everyone will enjoy... both people who have relocated and to India and those who wants to relocate to India. I liked this YouTube channel so much. Thank you so much for these videos.😂

India Today is completely different from what it was a decade ago. Now there is no reason to settle abroad. We also moved back to India from Canada

I think it always feels like grass is greener on the other side. At the end of the day, we have to be practical. We would not move back to India anytime soon because we want our children to get good opportunities and education and the quality of life is much better here. Later in life, maybe. Stayed in Singapore and US for 15 years.

I lived in Germany for twenty years and returned to India in 1981. It was difficult to adjust at that time. But today I feel happy to be back. India of Today is totally different than India of 1981. Better than Europe or the USA.

Hi Avinash, I know you put in a lot of preparation into these episodes. It would be good to lay out facts like the city they moved to in India, industry they work in, trigger point for moving back. Thanks!

We moved to US when our kids were just 3 and 1 and as a mother I feel that’s the best thing that could have happened to us. I was tired and exhausted as a mother being told how to raise my kids by every other person. I took my kids to the library and park everyday. We went on a lot of vacations. The time I would have spent attending functions with family and friends we spent as a family. When our kids were little I never wasted my time and energy on what clothes or jewelry to wear, I played with them a lot. Our kids are teens now and we have a beautiful relationship with them. After 15 years in California we own 2 houses, one a vacation home near Yosemite in 5 acres, no loans and at our property in Silicon Valley we grow tons of organic fruits and veggies for our own use. We do all our house chores including flooring, installing new toilets, building our own furniture and we also have a lot of pets we love. Also because we have an active lifestyle we do not have any health problems. We feel rooted and home❤

From my experience what I feel is that the best country to live in is often where you grew up and experienced your formative years. The sense of familiarity, cultural connection, and deep-rooted belonging can rarely be replicated elsewhere. Moving to a different country may bring financial success, luxury, or new opportunities, but it often comes with a lingering sense of emptiness — a feeling that something is missing, like a part of your identity left behind. True contentment is often tied to the memories and bonds formed during adolescence, which are hard to replace in a foreign land.
