Thanks Milian for this review.
The middle stripe in the neck is bubinga.
The second capacitor is a treble bleed. Both pots are 500k.
The pickups from an old epiphone with ceramic magnets instead of the original Alnicos. Normaly I wound my own pickups. But these are good as they were, so I only changed the magnets.
I build this guitar out of materials I had laying around. That causes the scrafjoint.
Milian contactet me right after he gets the guitar. As he said, i'm a hobbyist. Not a professional. Building guitars for 15 years now. And from time to time I sell one of them.
I'm happy that this guitar found a new owner who is happy with something I created. That's how it should be.

I show my work on Facebook in a group called "E-Gitarre bauen". Search for my name in the group.

I’m not a big fan of the black machine style but that being said, this thing looks very well built and it sounds awesome. The thinness of the body is impressive and looks fun to play! That wiring looks clean af

Many are asking, who this builder is. I didn't express myself clearly here, the guy I bought it from is not the builder but first owner. The builder doesn't have a brand, he's just building guitars in his spare time and sells them occasionally on eBay Kleinanzeigen. His name is Daniel Büchner and he happens to have a beautiful guitar similar to this for sale right now:

I think, the blue capasitor (with the resistor) is for "treble bleed" mod.

honestly that's a steal. also, your playing is so lovely! so many of those ambient, swelling licks you played reminded me very much of Adam Jones, especially from after fear inoculum. cheers!

the algorythm is cruel (also new YT accounts) because it almost made me forget your awesome content but luckily you don't forget a great musician.

The capacitor with the resistor look like a « treble bleed » it conserve the treble when you push down the volume. Nice song and video by the way 😊.

Those pickups sound so good! Sort of a bareknuckle vibe with how much clarity they retain with big chords. An absolute steal for a gorgeous guitar 😁

neve saw a player react to fret buzz like you did

it looks fine and and sounds really good. It looks like it has a treble bleed capacitor installed.

That is a 0.022 microfarad (or .022μF) capacitor is right in the middle of 0.015 (bright) and 0.047 (dark, but needs lower kΩ pots to really shine)! Nice little harness in there!

Plini vibes for sure, got that vibey, progy, but “vintage breakup” tone - really nice upper mids coming through! Also, gotta love some medium output passive pickups 👌🏽

For non floating bridges especially a hardtail the design of the bridge doesn’t matter all that much. Guitarist bias because functionally your strings just sit there the bridge is just a piece of metal supporting them.

hmm if you're not a fan of the bridge and the neck moves, you could possibly install an evertune?

Resistor is there because one of the pots is 250k ohms. To make it sound like 500k he used a resistor. Btw that guitar for 200 euros is a steal !

the capacitor is likely a treble bleed (to keep the high end when you roll off the volume)

I do like that it is familiar, but does it's own thing.
Flat bottom is interesting - I think the 80's Peavey Adrian Vandenberg had a similar look - slightly angled on that, I think, but a very straight edge.
I really like the subtle forearm carve and the pearloid binding.
Yes, you can tell it's hand made, but not a slavish copy of commercial guitars, which is something I can respect.
Even with the cost of a few upgrades like a new bridge, better locking tuners, coil split and a fret job on top of the initial purchase price - I think it'll still punch above it's weight class and is something unique.

10:49 I can't believe guitar builders are not ALL adding Carbon Fiber neck reinforcement rods.... they are only about $20 and take no time at all during the Truss Rod installation.

the cheap bridge looks ok to me.. its better than most of the stratlike trems.. or fender tele bridges.. at least it has this chunky and rounded baseplate/pool
