North Yemen and South Yemen were two separate countries and they reunified in the 1990. The Northern portion of Yemen is where the Shias live, and the Sunnis live in the southern aspect. North Yemen used to have Shia monarchy from 1918-1962. In 1962, an Egyptian-backed revolutionary military cabal overthrew the Mutawakkilite king and established an Arab nationalist government with its capital in Sanaa, Yemen. With Soviet assistance, Egypt sent tens of thousands of troops to back the republican coup. The King Shia Royalists (later named as Houthis)fled to the mountains along the Saudi border to fight a civil war for control of the country. Saudi Arabia and the US used to support the royalists against Egypt. But, the American invasion of Iraq in 2003 radicalized the Houthi movement, like it did many other Arabs. They began to immerse themselves in anti-imperialist, anti-US ideologies and as a result, the US provided military assistance to the president of Yemen (Saleh) and told him to eradicate the Ansar Allah (Champions of God) movement. The Yemeni army killed their leader in 2004 (Hussein al-Houthi) and renamed their group after their leader (Houthis). The US also made sure Saudi Arabia gets involved in the military operation and provide assistance to the Yemeni president Saleh, and in turn that made Saudi Arabia an enemy to the Houthis. However, Saleh and the Houthis began diplomatic discussions and they reached an agreement to give the Shia minority (40% of population) political representation and things were quiet for a while and the US and Saudi Arabia weren't happy with that because the Houthis have good relations with Iran. Iran of course wants an upper hand over it's adversary (Saudi Arabia), and gulf countries by having presence in Yemen, since the Northern part of Yemen is very strategic and it gives direct access to the Red Sea. Keep in mind that Iran is a 99% Shia country and the Houthis are Shia as well. Saudi Arabia of course has around 15% of Shia Muslims in their country. Saudi Arabia gets it's gas and oil from the areas where the Shia Saudis live. Saudis were afraid that a Shia Yemen might influence the oppressed Shia population in Saudi Arabia to form armed resistance and demand political, social and religious representation. The US had a plan to get rid of everyone that may pose threat to America's access to oil and gas and replace any regime that is deemed as a threat to their interests. So they started this "Arab spring movement" aka CIA operation movement in 2011 and as a result, Qadafi was overthrown, Saleh was overthrown, Egypt's president (Mubarak) was overthrown, Tunisia's president overthrown and Syrian president was almost overthrown. The Houthis were unhappy because the US and Saudi installed a puppet (Hadi) government with no Shia representation. In 2014, the Houthis tried to help Saleh get back into power by overthrowing Hadi's government. But, Saleh switched sides and in 2017 the Houthis took over the capital Sanaa and killed Saleh. Then the US, Egypt Saudi Arabia, UAE, Sudan and few other countries formed a coalition to destroy the Houthis. But, this coalition failed miserably because the Saudi military was very ineffective against the Houthis guerilla warfare tactics and the Saudi, Sudanese and UAE forces suffered great casualties, so Egypt, Sudan withdrew immediately and Saudi Arabia and the UAE are left stuck in this war and they've been forced to pay over one trillion dollars in this very long and costly war to the US for weapons and ammunition. The US made a lot of money and it isn't interested in using it's diplomacy to end the war. The Houthis on the other hand, live in harsh mountainous terrains and receive a lot of support from the local Shia population and Iran. Thus, it's impossible for the Saudis to use mountain warfare to control a mountainous area of 195, 000 km2. Basically, Yemen is Saudi Arabia's Afghanistan. And the relations between the US and Saudi Arabia has deteriorated because the US refuses to send military personnel or fight the Houthis on behalf of the Saudis. The Saudis understand that the US wants this war to continue as long as possible, so they can keep selling arms to Saudi Arabia and the UAE and forcing them to make more concessions and open up more bases.

Do you think NOPEC bill of USA would have some impact on OPEC in near future? They made some changes to the jurisdiction recently.

I checked out and Turkey found around 550bcm in Black Sea and they consume around 60bcm a year, so I don’t think they are going to export it

The EU imports an average of 155 BCM of natural gas from Russia* each year. And Turkey's Black Sea reserve is estimated to be 540 BCM; <3.5 year worth of Russian gas if things remain the same. That means, even with Turkey's Black Sea reserve, EU can't replace Russia.

As others have mentioned in their comments, the finds are not so impressive. On the contrary. Turkey is in a very dire situation regarding natural gas. Most of their electricity is produced from natgas. They are so short of foreign currency that recently they had to cut electricity to the industry for 3 days! Erdogan desperately needs some way out so he started advertising the finds in the Black Sea. They may not even be worth exploiting, but who knows.

CPI is nothing more than an inflation messurement. You create a basket of good and set a base year as reference and start the index at 100 from there. So if the basket is 1% more expensive in the next year then the index is 101.

Additionally there is CPI ex Energy - as energy costs are more volatile it might be sometimes useful to (ex)lude them and finally we have CPI ex Energy&Food - which monitors inflation without Energy &Food Costs
