Hi Andrew. I just want to talk about the conditionals, which are not as easy as you explained them.
I can say
If had inherited a million dollar, I would be rich now.
So here it is not the second or third conditional, but it is a mix between them, which you did not refer to.
I hope to give us a lesson talking about these cases. How to mix between second and third conditional and vice versa.

Hi, Sir! Thanks infinitely for your helpful explanations. If you would, please, clarify to me how we can utilize would in unreal, non-conditional scenarios. I can't locate an example of that; it's really perplexing! Also, I would like to know whether statements containing 'wish' or 'if only' are considered conditionals or not. For example: * I wish I were affluent. I would give to the impoverished.
* If only I had been affluent! I would have given to charity.

In the 2nd and 3rd conditional, how would a situation as follows be expressed, please?

" my friend has already missed the bus purposely, thinking that he'd get a car " in here I now come and say if it were I would or would've got the bus .. which one is correct please ?

And in the past after a party:
I say that though you saw him you wouldn't recognise or wouldn't have recognised him ? May be he saw him, but didn't know if ut was him, a past finished action.. which one would go with this one please
