WPRI Commercial Breaks (April 18, 1996)

Taken from As The World Turns and Guiding Light on CBS affiliate WPRI-TV (channel 12) in Providence, Rhode Island. CBS actually owned the station at the time, but it was in the midst of selling it due to overlap with WBZ in Boston.

However, the on-air look seen here was introduced under previous owner, Narragansett Television. Narragansett's other station was WTKR in Norfolk, VA, which was sold to the NY Times Company, and during the 80s they owned KOVR in Sacramento, which ironically is now owned by CBS.
