Bengaluru Accident: 3 Women Among 7 Dead As Their Audi Crashes Into Pole In Bengaluru

Bengaluru Accident: A speeding Audi car crashed into a pole in Bengaluru on Tuesday, killing all the seven people who were inside. The accident took place at around 2.30 am. While six people died on the spot, the seventh died in the hospital. There were three women among seven dead. All the passengers were in their twenties.

Because of such accidents speed limit in Hyderabad highway reduced to 80kmph, dont know if accidents have reduced but people are paying big challans all over.

This crash clearly shows that the speed of car involved would have been way more than the speed limit...and there is no way any car with any crash ratings would survive that tremendous impact. Clear case of carelessness and negligence.

I don't know about the particular model Audi here ... but I suppose it is q7 which scored a crash test rating of 5 stars and above 90% protection for adult occupents which shows that don't buy a vehicle based on crash test results ... Recently Mahindra boasted about 4 star rating for Thar which they used a trick by providing the six seater variant for NCAP and removing the back seats ...
Tata also claims good crash test rating ..
While these maybe good on a controlled environment these tests don't give an actual value on road conditions
.particularly in India where many roads and not maintained ...
My only message to everyone is Drive safe .. don't rely on crash test ratings and wait for the car to save you ..
No hates to any car manufactures mentioned ..

It’s Audi q3. All 7 are dead. With regards to airbags in a recent article I had read that if seat belts are not on then no air bags will open. I don’t think so that with these kind of drink and drive accidents no airbags will work.
