There is definitely pixie dust in Cuba, MO. Years ago I was on my way moving from the East Coast to Tucumcari, NM. We stayed at a motel in Cuba & while sitting down eating continental breakfast in the morning this couple was leaving . All of a sudden the man stops walking and asks us where we’re headed. We tell him Tucumcari and he was flabbergasted. He also lived in Tucumcari and worked as a bank manager. At the time the county where Tucumcari resides had a population of minus 5000 so you can understand why he was so shook. Every time I went to that bank he would tell everyone the story of how we randomly met in Cuba lol. Years later I met my biological father. We’re both from the east coast, and I’m telling him about my Route 66 adventures. I start telling him about Cuba, MO & how great of a town it is & also the previous story. Now he is flabbergasted. It turns out his sister in law moved from her country to America & settled in Cuba, MO of all places and still lives there to this day. It is such a small world✨

as a Missouri native and still living here I thank you so much for this video! I love our Route 66 and all its wonderful adventures and stories. I am so glad I found your channel and I'm Thankful for all the Roadies that still seek out and travel our beautiful byways.
