So much fun taking chords and building runs. You are the best.

For guitarists - turning this into a sort of string skipping lick using the D and B strings was the best way of going about it for me. It's either a decent stretch or learning to 'jump' the index finger up to the G on the D string after hitting the C on the B string, depending on fingering. Super fun exercise.

I love the direct, mechanical, non-theory based explanations you’re giving on how to play. No filler. It’s very welcome

I played this run in my last show. I only gave it a go when packing for the show before being on stage. It actually is easy.

Im goofing around with this on the guitar and am noticing if you play it slow its very blues/rock sounding. Kind of a C7#9 sound

"And there you have it." like Rick Beato says, "Like that." Uh, yeah right.

So here’s a an interesting thing that might be worth researching, but down its jagged and kind of exciting, up, on the other hand feels somehow mellow and predictable. This will be digging into my brain for the whole day and it probably is something as dumb the idea of rolling chords always being more coherent on the way up and the thought that a lot of musicians, including myself, are used to building harmony from the bass up.
