I wanted to share my favorite gift with you. Mark wanted some of our adventures to be in a book. I love it! ⁣

I'm ready for the holidays to be over but I'm not ready for a New Year. It hurts to leave behind the last year(2019) that we will ever have with Sophia. ⁣
⁣
The holidays have been really difficult for us. Mark and I held it together for the kids so they could enjoy the holidays but we both collapsed once we put them to bed. Grief impacts every single part of you. It is going to take some time to recover from this especially heavy grief spell.⁣
⁣
We still found moments of joy and happiness in being with our kids and watching them light up over the holidays. They’ve kept us moving and going. The kids had so much fun doing holiday activities, going to parties and going out as a family to do fun things. ⁣
⁣
Mark and I even managed to go out on a few dates. We let go, let loose, laughed and enjoyed our time. We are always reminded that we will get through this. No matter how painful it is, we will face it and continue to move forward.⁣
⁣
I hope you all made it through the holiday season with moments of light and love and if not, I hope this New Year will bring you some of those moments. ⁣
