One of the cops that gets shot in reservoir dogs is the actor Bob Ruth. He's the coffee shop manager in pulp fiction and he also is the boxing announcer on the radio for Butch's fight.
In the hateful eight extended version, Chris Mannix says to the hangman, "aren't you, Bob Ruth?" But the hangman says "no I'm John Ruth." That was just a little Easter egg Quentin Tarantino put in to see if anyone noticed.
