vERY very impulsive pmv but i was talking to my partner abt fun warrior cat aus, and we were spitting ideas back and fourth about squilf and i rememered some cool concepts from twitter and bAM silly little impulsive pmv

in this au i like to imagine squilf less so as a reincarnation of scourge but more as a parallel to him with scourge acting almost like a guardian angel would. idk, not anything too super thought out, just wanted to make a short thing x9

Amazing!! I didn't think before about how they both often have a lighter paw! The best part is you can't tell whose paw it is right before Squirrelflight kills Brambleclaw/ashfur.

I LOVE the idea of Scourge being bound to Squirrelflight and then growing to care for her and guide her to stans up to Bramblestar's and Ahsfur's bs. I adore how he was portrayed in this, and it's a dynamic I never considered but really like now

The expression on Squilf’s face on the last frame looks almost like Scourge took control of her body and she didn’t know what was going to happen- love that

This is such a cool concept! It’s fun to think of how else it might have impacted squirrelflight’s story. Like maybe Scourge would have encouraged her to take her sister’s kits instead of Starclan, because they had the good bond he never got to have with his siblings.

I love the idea that Scourge woke up not understanding why he was 'alive' and where he was. He only saw Squirrelkit and leafkit.

In this au, im gonna imagine firestar is very busy, and as much as he tries to spend time with his family, he is too busy running the clan. Sandstorm does her best as a mother and is loving, but even she needs a break from her kits every so often. Thus leading scourge to take on not just a mentor role in the kits lives but also a fatherly one too.

Remember that one line from the first maleficent movie? The one where she says she doesn't like children before beginning to care for Aurora? That's the vibs i would get from this au with scourge and Squirrelkit along with leafkit.

I imagine both sisters can see Scourge, but everyone always said they were lying or making things up, so they kept it quiet. But they would tell scourge everything, and he would pass messages between the two of them. Which is how they stayed in contact during the journey.

Scourge always felt a closer connection to Squirrelflight because she was naturally smaller than the rest of her peers (also the white paw) plus her ambition for power. He decides to teach her some of his techniques that push Squirrelflight past what was originally expected of her. which, in turn, also gained the attention of not only Brambleclaw but ashfur.

I imagine she asked her sister and Scourge about who to pick. I could see scourge being the type to sit beside her while she is eating her fresh kill and gossiping about what the two toms are doing (especially if they are right next to her because she has to act like nothing happened and not laugh)

In the end, i imagine she still ends up with Brambleclaw, and leafpool still has her kits. Scourge is disappointed but since he paid more attention to Squirrelflight he missed the signs before it was too late. The kits are born and surprisingly (despite her not being able to see him or understand his wisdom) he takes a shine to Hollyleaf he sees himself in her, both the good and the bad. So he isn't surprised after ashfurs death. This does however cause Squirrelflight to get mad at him for not telling her about it and the two have a small falling out.

She ignores him and his warnings and heads into a super toxic relationship with bramble and scourge lets it happen because it's her choice and he respects her enough to allow her to make her own choices and decisions. Im gonna imagine almost everything stays the same after this, scourge is just watching. He takes this time to pay more attention to leafpool and advice her instead.

What changes is that in the end he (scourge) confronts Squirrelflight about bramble. How hes been become different and how easy it should be to see. He mentions how he sees the small flames that flicker in the pawsteps of 'Bramblestar' as he walks. He also mentions how he knows those icy blue eyes that stare at Squirrelflight as well. He warns her but she is still mad at him and blind to the truth.

That is until she is confronted by 'bramble' he calls her out for being a liar, a code breaker and how for some reason her eyes sometimes look icy blue. He gets closer and looks more threatening. Scourge afraid that he will attack her, suddenly sees tigerstar instead of 'bramble' suddenly he is a kit again and tigerpaw is teaching him a 'lesson' and then suddenly his paw 'slips' as he takes over Squirrelflights body and kills bramble.

(Im gonna assume hes done it before maybe when she was an apprentice or something. I like to imagine when he does take over her, she simply gets confused and dizzy. She would remember the events and what was said from them and 'her' but it would feel like they are not her words or actions. Her eyes would go from green to blue.)

By the time he's acted, the misty image of tigerstar is replaced with a horrified 'bramble.' he did the same tactic he did with tigerstar. Robbing the leader of all his remaining lives making Squirrelflight, Squirrelstar.

He would be proud of Squirrelstar but she would be horrified thinking she did it instead of scourge. He doesn't realise she is blaming herself, scourge then promises to keep this a secret from her sister and how she did the right thing. That he is proud to see how her ambition has grown and how she is truly fit to be leader.

I absolutely adore the idea of Scourge acting as her guardian angel, just kinda encouraging her to live her life the way she wants to - because man, poor Squilf gets the short end of the stick way too often, mostly due to Bramblestar...

I love the parallel drawn between Squirrelflight/Scourge and Tigerstar/Bramblestar! It's so cool. I also remember back when people thought Squirrelflight was a reincarnation of Scourge. This PMV makes it literal.

I like the idea scourge is like a ghost watching over squirrelflight, and killing bramblestar the way scourge killed tigerstar is neat, plus the way squerllflight looked at it, like she was surprised or scared because she didn't know what had happened {what im judging based on the look in the drawing}

it's a cool concept and I hope people make more aus about it.
