Junxing Pharos 2 Recurve Bow

preview_player
Показать описание
New from Junxing Archery. The Pharos is a CNC machined recurve hunting bow with International Fitting Limbs which clip into the riser.

You can shoot off the shelf or using an arrow rest.

We compare the Junxing Pharos to other IFL hunting recuves

I just ordered this bow from Archery supplies. And I receive it Monday.... I have to say that customer service is by far the best I've ever seen

I bought this bow upon seeing this. I love the bow. Thank you for recommending it. I also saw a video you did on silencing. And on your recommendation, I put the rubber string silencers that go between the limbs and the string. It worked perfectly! Thank you so much for the video. It was a great help!

Great honest review as you always give. We can count on you to tell it like it is or isn't :-). Too many good bows and not enough money. Thank you.

Thx for the review.
Some precisions, as i'm the happy owner of one Junxing F158 and i'm waiting for this one to be delivered, and with all the re-brandings and copycats, it's sometimes unclear .
The Pharos 2 is the Junxing F261but with the luxury box and carbon limbs -
You show at 08:40 the Junxing F166, and at 09:40 it is the F161, the old brother of the F261(cast and fiberglass).

If I ever make it to Australia your store is on my list of places to visit. Your selection is amazing and I would very much like to meet you. Thanks for another great review video. Please keep them coming.

How can I order a replacement for a stripped locking nut for the tiller bolt? I see it may be removed and a new one added by going from the top in like the tiller bolts do. Thank you!

Anyone know where to find the other review that’s referred to?

Hi, Steven. Although it's four years old, this is another of your MANY terrific reviews. And, clearly, the Pharos II is an excellent hunting recurve, which is where my own interest lies. I hope that you've done well with it in the time since this session .
I can't help but suggest that you do an updated review, this time comparing the Pharos to the Tbow ILF hunting recurve that you reviewed so favorably some five years ago. It would be even better if you include the new Sanlida Hermit X10 (with foam/carbon limbs!), which falls into the same $300-$400 US range. In any event, thanks—as always—for sharing your experience and expertise with us. Best, Chris (Maine USA)

A Very good review, and I like the fact that you express the use of bow stringers. I subscribed :)

Nice review. As a N00b, how do decide the riser size (17/19/21)?
My draw length is 72 cm (28.4 inches).

Cheers.

The Junxing F 261, is an excellent  Bow, I have the very same 21" Riser, with the 45 LB Pharos Medium size Limbs, and I love

Loved the review, bought it, love it.
I shot it quite a bit when it first arrived, then went and bust my shoulder on my mountain bike 🙄
Just getting it back out now, its the perfect lockdown pass time 👌
Does anybody know what the correct brace hight is for this bow ? I have the 21" riser.

I just ordered one of these bows but a 19 inch riser. I hope I get a pretty black box because I never had a black box like that...

Which is easier to string without a bowstringer, a recurve or a longbow, or is it the same, that a bowstringer is recommended for both?

I bought a, I think, F177 with the hairy arrow rest and UV light aiming 5pin circle.
After several shots I took everything off and installed a reasonably cheap plunger with magnetic arrow rest.
Now I am happy and hit the bull's eye. Anyone interested in buying the quite heavy aiming set? I think it's for starters and other types of shooting. Anyway, buy the 'clean' bow and add a few gadgets, hairy rests, a simple aiming device (7, 50) or a plunger set like mine and for under 75dollar you have a top bow. Honestly!!!
p.s. I started with 50lbs limbs and when my shoulder was healed I shot the rest with 35lbs. LOVE them!! 50lbs for sale to. (Mint condition). same as aiming device.
Happy Shooting Everyone!

Which do you prefer, the Pharos or the TBOW?
