I believe Buzzbee creates the best blasters. Not from a performance standpoint of course, but purely from the fun of the shooting experience with their plethora of shell ejecting shotguns, bolt action rifles, oversized behemoths like the alpha auto and tetrashot, and their lever actions, old (rapid-fire, sentinel) and new (EZ fire). I think they truly make "toy" blasters, and the prices can't be beat.

People make excuses for dart when they mess up. But when Nerf does the same thing, it's always hate towards Nerf there is no excuses for laziness or lack of effort.

The X shot Flux's "Blowback" on trigger pull is criminally underrated as a play feature.

We need historical reenactments using foam flinging blasters, especially with all the 3D printed stuff coming out, like the flintlocks, muskets etc.

We need some sort of definitive organization for local or college events. It would make it a lot easier to start clubs in areas where none currently exist.

Hot take: there is a surprising lack of eco-friendly darts that can be used outside without having to clean up.

These would be great, especially for short darts, and I'm actually working on designing and producing them. But still, we need more.

Hot take: We got what we wanted and now I don't want it. With pro line blasters on shelves, we aren't on the hunt for that rare blaster at thrift stores, taking the time to do the modding to make them hit high fps, and fun paint jobs to show how proud we are of our work.

Nexus Pro is the worst blaster to give to someone new to the hobby. The amount of jams I've seen with a loaned Nexus is immaculate.

Not everything needs to be an ultra competitive +200 FPS to be a good blaster. The most important part of Nerf is that it's fun.

The Nerf community has gone a long way. Personally still love the X-Shot Longshot, and the AEB. I hope they create more easily field stripped blasters, makes it more fun e.g. field stripping competiton of blasters.

I think the high FPS chase is becoming a problem: I feel like it making the over all hobby less casual and more like paint ball.

As a hobbiest, you should be doing field repairs on blasters you find in thrift stores, even if you don't intend to buy them.
