Just a quick comment/clarification, whenever "Mini 3" is mentioned, please note that support is for the Mini 3 Pro only and not the standard Mini 3 :)

Thanks for the detailed instructions. I am considering buying a used mini 3 pro to take advantage of this hack.
A few questions:
1. If the hack is on the drone itself, does it make any difference if used with RC-N3 instead of RC1? (asking because one option is to buy just the drone as I already have a RC-N3 and I use it with my phone which is convenient)
2. A lot of caution around the firmware. Is it not possible to simply downgrade? (because if it is not possible to simply downgrade, I would have to investigate the firmware before I make the purchase).

They could have done a better job on their error messages. I bought my license and installed the mod a few days ago. However, they threw an obstacle in my way with incomplete error messages. I checked my firmware version before purchasing, as I always do. My drone was on 600. The site said yes, it's supported, so I went ahead and purchased the license. I then downloaded the new beta app, installed it, logged in, and connected my drone. The app detected the drone and showed the correct firmware version. However, when I opened the modification tab, it simply gave me the message that there were no supported mods for that version. It did not give me the other message that you showed for the 900 version, where it referred to the firmware flasher. It simply said that there were no mods, even though the website confirmed that my version would work. Luckily, I didn't give up and went to the firmware flasher tab. There, it told me that I needed to upgrade to 700. A small thing, but that's something that should have been communicated on the modifications tab to begin with.

what happens if you try and update the firmware within DJI Fly when it pops up on the controller screen there is a new firmware? Will it also block this? or will it overwrite the DH?

Hi there! I just bought a licence for mini 3 pro, followed the tutorial, everything ran smoothly. My firmware was 01.00.0700, after the flash now it shows me 20.00.0800. Haven't tested the altitude limit yet, but on the controller the max altitude allowed is still 500m. Is this normal?The drone
can fly higher or, if the hack is correctly applied it needs to show on the controller too??In your video you don't show the max altitude tab!

Just downloaded the the software for the Mini 3 pro from the menu giving a few different suggestions. 01, 00, 0700 was present in the drone.
How do I select which hacks I will use? The FCC hack is the only one wanted.

What's this I'm hearing about DJI sending a file to prevent your controller being unlocked without you knowing and installing it automatically, some firewall ? I want to buy a used air 3 but am worried if it's been patched and I will be stuck.

Do you know if firmware 0900 will work Ok with DJI RC firmware v01.03.1700? I can't upgrade my RC firmware as I use a displaylink app on the RC to output an HDMI signal via a USB-C displaylink adapter to a Quest 3 and more recent RC firmwares haven't been jailbroken. It's an awesome solution to provide AR cinema screen flying with the M3P.
