I hope you will find this video calming and comforting.

Over the weekend I went to Waterstones Piccadilly in Central London, the biggest bookshop in Europe, with books spread over five floors. It was extremely busy and crowded so the footage is not the best, but I hope this little video will give you an idea how it looks inside.

If you are ever in London and visiting Waterstones Piccadilly, I’d also highly recommend you a visit to London Library (not to be confused with the British Library) which is just a few minutes’ walk away from Waterstones. The Hatchards Bookstore is another one worth visiting, the oldest bookstore in London, founded in the 18th century, and, also, just a few minutes away from Waterstones Piccadilly.

Please let me know If you would like to see any particular places in London, especially bookstores or places related to literature so I can try and make a video for you.

Wishing you a peaceful rest of the week.

One of the books mentioned in the video is "Madonna in a Fur Coat" by Sabahattin
Ali. Here is a link to my review I posted some time ago on my blog. It is a great book to read during long autumn evenings.

Autumn has truly arrived in London. So, I decided to have a peaceful Saturday visit to Waterstones Piccadilly in Central London. It was so crowded that it was difficult to film. However, I hope this little chaotic 😊 video will give you a taste of how this biggest bookstore in Europe looks like inside.

Wishing you a very peaceful week ahead!

I'm finally going to London for the first time and I'm ecstatic to be able to say I've been to Waterstones. I don't know if I'll able to go to the other bookstores like The Strand, because I'm going with my parents and I don't know they'll be as interested spending they day at various bookstores.

Formerly 'Simpsons of Piccadilly' originally a large retail Menswear Store, opened in 1936. A Grade 1 listed building. Sold to Waterstones in 1999.
