A user on twitter was attacked for instructing Black women not to support, advocate, or march for a Black teen who was shot in the face by a White a man. Twitter users who had photos of Black men and Black women made vile comments about her hair, skin, and facial features. Most of these people made reference to this woman not being FBA aka Foundational Black Americans. This is a movement that is being led and organized by Tariq Nasheed. When Tariq is not asking for reparations he complaining about non-FBA's aka immiagrant Africans that put themselves in Black people's affairs.

After looking at Tariq's page, I saw he made a tweet similar in tone to the Twitter user who was attacked. However, his fans/supporters did not racially harrass him. @tariqnasheed

The obsession with hair is so embarrassing especially when it comes from other black women. Like when will they come up with something new. Y’all be having $900+ bust down middle part still getting dragged by black men for wearing weaves etc. While y’all edges are laid y’all get treated like sht.
If a divested womans worse issue in life is a bad weave or wig she’s doing a whole lot better than most.
The whole “if they don’t like or date BM why they keep talking about us” ummm coming from the same men that say out loud and unapologetically they hate black women and don’t want them. They’re getting their snow queens etc but will spend hours online talking about black women.
The same males that say the most vile things specifically towards black women no one says anything. But let a black woman say something that won’t harm a soul, black men AND women will drag another black woman quick fast.

What he said about Ralph is right. Would Ralph’s mother March for a black American boy like she wants them for her son? Nope. Fba young kids are killed and most Africans are just indifferent and I say this as an African.

As a black American woman, I have no dog in this fight. I am only supporting like-minded mono-racial natal born black American women who share similar standards and values. I am not a fan of Nasheed but I am nit about to put on a cape for these other groups of women either.

As a black American woman who is no longer a part of the black American community, culture, and collective identity I feel that Tariq Nasheed should focus his time and energy on the women who are still a part of the community and culture while leaving alone those of us who left. Lisa Vasquez introduced the concept of divestment for black American women in the early 2000s and I apply this concept to various aspects of my life including romace. I love my divested life and would not trade it for anything.

An African coworker made it clear that he's only here for benefits. He is in jail now for stealing from the company.

I am a divested woman of black American descent and while I do agree that divested women of black American women descent should create their own community, representation, and space that reflect their personal growth, womanhood, and more I still don’t support the degradation of other communities of women.

This isn’t BW fight either. This is an African woman, let Africans handle it. We have to stop fighting their battles. Let the African pull themselves up by their sandals for once!

I saw that post. One doesnt need to mention background all the time. I get what hes saying though since immigrants have different views on AA.

That boys hair is also how he was identified as a potential trouble maker. He had those spider twists or twisted out fade thing he got. Lol. This wig stuff. I got my real hair and feel like I don't apply.

I don't like tariq nasheed at all!! I don't care who he is or what he has done. He is a turn off and makes me sick to my stomach. I don't support his movement like i dont support umar Johnson. I cant stand either one of them i hate the fact that people have given him a platform sickens me. The first time i heard so many bp praising him i disliked him. He disgusts me.

Tariq dead wrong for bringing that kids aunts love life up. It doesn’t matter when it comes down to what happened to that young man. But it is equally bad for that women to say it’s not a black womens problem to deal with what happened. On this channel I’ve read plenty of black women say they only care for other bw and kids. A bw wm couple still can birth a young biracial male. They’ll still go thru the same problem bw bm couples go thru with their offspring. If you only want to support young black girls be prepared to abort all the boys that’s in the womb because once a boy is pronounced you have to deal with everything this world has against them. I don’t see how you can claim to be there for a fellow sister; her biracial baby boy gets killed and instead of support you say this isn’t our problem. That’s a flawed community.
