1st paddle in my new canoe! NorthStar Trillium Stealth

I have that paddle as well, and it is my skinny water paddle. For deeper though still chance of hitting rocks I use another Bending Branches but their classic beaver tail. But my true love is my custom Fishell paddle. I recommend folks look into them. That said... I also take a double bladed paddle as well for times I need to get out of the weather quickly. But I seldom use it. I am by heart and skill, a single blade paddle guy.

That aside, your canoe is a beauty. I am sure it gets more than its share of looks and compliments. I have a Northstar Phoenix in Blacklite. And I can't wait for spring so I can get back out on the water. Keep paddling and having as much fun as it is obvious you have. cheers!

I've been paddling a Mad River Liberty for almost 30 yrs. It is 14.5 ft and weighs in at 23 pds. I've been very careful with it. It's a bit small for long trips. Hope you love your canoe and it serves you well. It's a beauty!
