There were so many eyeshadow palette releases and it was hard to choose which ones to buy, but I'm glad I skipped these palettes. I love all of Huda's palettes that I have tried (so many!) Maybe my fave palette of all might be the Mercury Retrograde, with pretty neutrals, beautiful berry tones, interesting shimmers and lovely aqua/teal.

YES!!! More eyeshadow content!! GRWM and 3 looks per palette always great content. I've gotten comfortable enough I can learn and use what I have.

The Too Faced pumpkin spice palette is so good! If this would've been released first I don't think I would've purchased the gingerbread palettes.

The hype is so often more than the reality. I've kind of reached the saturation point as far as eyeshadow and makeup is concerned. My last purchase was Colourpop's Stone Cold Fox and that purchase was justified as I was lacking in cool toned pallets and those are what suit me the best. Now that I have that, the only way I will be able to justify a new makeup purchase is if it does my dishes!

I purchased 4 palettes in 2020, the least amount in years! The last one purchased was LAWLESS: The Baby One mini, at the end of November. I tried purchasing some ColourPop ones, but they're sold out every time. I love how you approach your purchases, mindful of excess, budget and also using what you have. You're one of my favorite! 💜💖

It was really interesting for me to decide I wouldn’t buy a palette for 3 months after it was released. What happened for me was that after 3 months, no one was talking about the palette, so I could make my decision based on whether it was still attractive to me and on how it fit into my existing palettes. It’s so much easier to avoid impulse buys and wasteful regrets now.
