Why the change to using the word "cyclone" when in the west it's called a "hurricane"? My spidy senses say it's all a mind game to make people think this must be much worse! Same weather event, different names around the world. Go east and these have always been called cyclones and typhoons, in the west, we always called them hurricanes. Cyclone, Hurricane, Typhoon, the only difference is where they form.
