Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to lay the foundation stone for a new Delhi University college named after Veer Savarkar in Najafgarh, sparking a political controversy. The Congress party has objected to the name, claiming Savarkar was loyal to the British. The BJP defends the decision, accusing Congress of insulting a freedom fighter. The college is part of a larger educational expansion project including two other campuses in East and West Delhi.

It's a great gesture of NDA government led by Prime Minister Modi Ji to lay the foundation stone for a college campus in the name of Vir Savarkar in New Delhi. I felt that the modern Indian historians misinterpreted and misjudged Vir Savarkar's contribution during India's freedom movement. I think, he deserves his rightful place in history books of secondary schools across India.

Congress guys should mind their language, when talking about another freedom fighter, worshiped by millons-- calling veer Savarkar "a british stooge", is height of arrogance. These Nehru Congress guts, should go around the world and in particular to South East Asia, South Africa & Jamica, to LEARN/ FACE " extreme adverse" opinion even about Gandhi and more so about Nehru. Therefore, loose talks about Savarkar, will be posed with similar or worse opinion of many about Nehru--- leading to dharna by Congress. & loss of work in parliament.
