I have a query. I left my job in June 2023 to prepare for my cat exam, and also Im very sure that I will convert a good b-school as I have received calls. But the next/new session will generally start from May-June 2024.
So will the period from my leaving the job and taking admission be considered as a gap year? Kindly clarify.

Guys, there is no minimum months or hours. I being a non- engineer, studied for 12 months more than 6 hours a day, at the end, rough work for quants was 6 jumbo notebooks but still got 6 marks. Overall 91 %ile (got panic in quants section). So, believe me that there is no answer for " how much hours a day or months are enough?" Study in every free time gap you get. All the best.

I have a query regarding my academic plans. I am nearing the end of my second year, with graduation anticipated in June. I am contemplating taking the CAT 2024 exam. Although I haven't initiated serious preparation yet, I wonder if it's crucial to dedicate all my time to preparation now. Considering that I will complete my graduation in April 2025 and haven't enrolled in a master's program yet, I'm unsure if waiting longer to decide on the CAT exam is beneficial.
