Also, if this does happen, use Shears on the Snow Golem to remove the Pumpkin again. It may just be my experience, but passive mobs seem to have a deathwish around me. This way, 8 Snow Balls (2 Blocks) and that Pumpkin can make another Snow Golem.

Easy.just jump disconect and reconnect it will give you 3 secons of invenciviliti and you will be alive (you dont need a snow golem to scape only wait to rain and break the snow you can only scape with the shovel)

craft a shovel and craft a shears and place the pumpkin and shears the pumpkin and break the carve pumpkin and start spawn snow golem if snow golem walk they will placing the top snow break the top snow using shovel and craft the snow block using snowball start bridging to go on boat and start ride a boat and drive it fall away without taking damage

My solution: Pick up the crafting table and jump off the island, then do the glitch where you land while walking into a block and take no fall damage.

Well actually I would make iron shovel, make a snow golem, mine snow, make snow blocks to get the boat and then jump while on the boat, as it is about to reach the ground, jump off and be free

cuz u can make snow golems without carved pumpkins
