One thing I did not talk about in the review because the DLC price only just came out is that £25 for Volume One is a lot given how much content you get in the base game. Factor in two other volumes and that is £75. I hope this comes down in price fast!

Update 2: Be weary that the Xbox One version does not upgrade to Xbox Series X|S (no Smart Delivery).

6:20 funny you mention a real life circuit as that was one of my plans for the track editor once i get the game.

Take real tracks and give them the hot Wheels treatment so they feel more alive. First on my list was the Indianapolis Road course used in F1 up to 2007

It seems like there's not as much content as I originally thought, and to get the best version of the game, is really (IMHO) overpriced for what it is.
Will grab it if it ever goes to Gamepass, Xbox Gold, or PS+. Or just when it hits $30 CDN (which I would wager will be Boxing day)

At first I thought "ooh, wow! this looks like it'll like Re-Volt [from 1999] but far better" ... by the end I was thinking it probably handled way better in responsiveness and looked much crisper, but bar having more cars [tho you can mod in your own for Re-Volt], didn't have the fun scenery, gameplay longevity or "haha. that's amazing" factor that Re-Volt still has in many ways [I say that as someone who still has a copy, and still plays it on occasion - I'll try it out whenever I remember I have it installed under Wine, and always get hooked straight back into the career mode].
So, I suspect [without playing it ofc] that this needs some added quirkyness to make it worthy of today's hardware... and weapons. but silly weapons like in Re-Volt [nothing more hilarious in that game than a long half pipe coated in oil you've dropped and all the AIs spinning in circles trying to blow each other up] ... but also, with the Forza Horizon HotWheels already being a recent thing, the devs are in a tricky position trying to beat the sheer thrill of that.
But after all that, I'd still love to play this if it's on game pass:)

Really wished this game was a little more unique than Garfield Kart. Definitely would reccomend it on sale buuut not much more than that due to a long list of reasons that Im not going into
