2018 LeBron was one of the best I've ever seen.... an absolute beast

Same thing happened in the 2020 finals. Butler's legs were straight up gone by game 5 and 6. LeBron showed no signs of slowing down at all. Absolute freak.

Al Horford is super underrated. 36 years old, and on the verge of 15, 000 career points, 10, 000 rebounds, and 4, 000 assists.

Lebrons game 7 against Boston is probably the most underrated performance in the history of this league. That And 1 goal tend where the defender intentionally jumped on Lebrons back and he carried him through the whole thing was the most superhuman play I’ve ever seen in my life.

For every sports broadcaster saying "No one fears Lebron", there's a story like Al Horford's.

Don't worry. You'll hear the stories once he retires. It's always hard to talk about one of your peers in this light while he's still playing because you don't wanna look like a fangirl when he's your competitor, but trust me when James leaves you'll start hearing them.

2018 LeBron is the best player I’ve ever seen. The fact he took that team to the Finals is beyond impressive.

2018 LBJ playoff run was so intense. The pacers series with Oladipo taking him to game 7. To LeBronto taking over and then the Celtic series. What a run beating 3 hard teams in the East was no east accomplishment

Brons play during that 2nd run in Cleveland in the finals where he was avg like 30+ 15 and 12 for the finals like 3 yrs in a row was crazy af

As a viewer, if I had to pinpoint one year, I thought 2018 Lebron was peak Lebron individually. Not peak athletically, as I think the period horf references would be his athletic peak, but peak as a basketball player. That 2018 year with the team he had to drag them to the finals + that game 1 against the warriors. That was the best Lebron I had ever seen.

2018 was just the most complete version of Lebron. His outside shots, mid range and 3 was just on point. Driving to the basket. Passing, rebounds... I mean everything a team needs, he gave it. Just so sad that GSW was just so weak that they had to get Durant to win against him.

it’s INSANE how this was the first season i started watching the NBA from the start of the season all the way up to the Finals. I’m just lucky that i was part of the group that got to witness this every night. A dude absolutely carrying a team to the finals one buzzer beater after the next. And then game 1 of the Finals happened, a classic moment in NBA history.

I don't understand why more people don't acknowledge 2016 as the highest peak of all time. He literally beat the most winning team in NBA history (73-9 Warriors) while leading BOTH TEAMS in Scoring, rebounding, assist, steals and blocks. No player in NBA history has ever done that in the Finals. GOAT.

Big Al is the man. ... Very much grateful that the Celtics went & got him back on the squad.

Such a great player & leader. ... Wish him all the best for the rest of his basketball career, & throughout his life

I truly can’t wait for a Lebron documentary. I need all the stories and all the insight. I wanna be able to see Bron through the eyes of his peers/competitors the way we got to with Jordan w the Last Dance (which was eye opening for me as a 19 year old at the time)

I’m greatful for mediums like this podcast that allows me to get a glimpse into it like this. Thanks JJ.

When LeBron's documentary comes out after retirement, people will finally realize why he's the greatest of all time. 💯

'is there a peak LeBron?' definitely 2013. Dude average 27 8 and 6, 2 steals and a block, could guard every position, the best ever in the fast break, 56.5% from the field, and 40.6% from 3, elite IQ ofc, and he was at his heaviest at that point without sacrificing speed or cardio, he started posting up more, etc. Dude had absolutely everything. The best basketball peak ever.

I agree with the peak Lebron that Al mentioned. I'm a Spurs fan but he was like an apex predator then... Never gassed and just kept attacking showing all levels of scoring.
