I boil 2 cups of filtered water in a stainless steel pot on my stove, then add 1 to 1.5 cups of organic sugar and boil it until the sugar is dissolved. I let it cool down completely, then add it to the feeder which I also clean thoroughly. I get a LOT of hummingbirds.

Thank you for the Recipe, the birds love it! The funnel is the same width as the jar opening and funnels to a smaller hole causing a backup. In other words that funnel is useless lol, a larger one might be better.

Love your channel please consider using a glass Pyrex container for the boiling water boiling water melts plastic and the hummingbirds are drinking the dangerous poisonous plastic particles glasses best or a stainless steel saucepan on your stove to make your mixture thanks again for your channel thank you for helping the hummingbirds
