Solution to Laplace’s equation on rectangular domains PART 2

We pick up from the previous video and show how to find the solution to one of the other sides of the four-sided breakdown approach to solving Laplace’s equation on a rectangle. The approach uses a special fact about Laplace’s equation solutions in which solutions stay solutions under rigid flip, translate, and rotate transformations. In this case we use a flip transformation in order to solve one side using a solution we found previously on an opposite side.
