China vows to retaliate if Trump adds tariffs

Let's reason on this. We export 150 Billion to China and have a 500 Billion Deficit, this translates to China exporting 650 Billion to the US!!?? China will go Mono e Mono with the Tariff hikes---UNTIL---the Tariffs reach 150 Billion. The Tariffs do NOT impact them UNTIL then. We will have NOTHING TO LOSE when it does, since our Exports to China go no higher. At this point we need to Double the Tariffs on China really putting a hurting on them. Then we will have to export our goods to other Countries( which receive US subsidies) and especially Food to the poorer nations. Reduce the amount of monetary assistance(which by the way is almost 100% stolen by their CORRUPT LEADERS) and Purchase Food Goods from our own growers, and send them FOOD, which is their #1 need. Surely the very reputable Humanitarian Clinton Foundation would help by covering the cost of shipping, and correct distribution once the Food Goods Reached the Poorer Nation! (Maybe not on the Clinton thing as they could view this as an opportunity to ENRICH themselves!!) Do NOT give Countries Cash Subsidies, rather purchase American Made Products which the Countries need using the monetary equivalent of what the US was sending as a subsidy. This is a WIN-WIN scenario for the US Budget and American Producers.Just like the homeless person at the traffic light saying "need food". If your conscience moves you to want to help, swing around and purchase a little food, and give that instead of cash.

I'm side with The President. SME can be more competitive with China raise the tariffs.Most of big companies will return to invest in the US and other countries.Chinese will face higher cost of living and unemployment. With 1400 millions people to feed .That 's real BIG problem. In term of dept, by raising tariffs Trump use China's money<and big companies> to pay back and more jobs in the USA.
