Hugo Chavez's cheeky diplomacy has reached new heights recently; standing the US's policy of global intervention on its head, he has launched an aid campaign to reinvigorate the New York Bronx.

In 2006 Venezuela's maverick Premier visited the poverty ridden district. Citing his infamous, "affinity with poverty," he mocked feeble domestic attempts to regenerate the area. Chavez cites the US's famed billion dollar spending on the global War on Terror and says the US clearly has no budget left for domestic social issues. He has now seized the opportunity to lend a hand, his Ambassador to the US commenting, "What is the difference between a US poor and an equatorial or Venezuelan poor? Our way of thinking is that you help with what you have." What the Venezualans have is oil and oil money. One hundred million barrels of subsidised oil will be offered to the US's poorest this year, and millions of dollars will be poured into social and environmental regeneration schemes. Social activist Tony Archino is enthusiastic, "I understand the issues surrounding Venezuelan money, but it's very successful." The Bush administration is keen to downplay the success of the scheme citing it as “crude propaganda,” but for Chavez, this is a hugely symbolic victory right on Uncle Sam’s doorstep.

The reason the poor people from the Bronx still loves Hugo Chavez is because of all he did for the Poor people of the Bronx. Hugo Chavez did a lot of propaganda in a very short amount of time, he worked really hard against the USA governments from the Republicans and the Democrats too, he worked in favor of Socialismo/Communism. Chavez was very smart in that regard spreading his hate for the USA. The real Chavista are now in the Bronx, N.Y. and they are active taking side with Nicolas Maduro because he continues the Chavista propaganda, spreading Socialismo, the Chavez Revolution. The Poor people of the Bronx were used and continue being used by Maduro and his false Revolutionariy group many who live now in New York, Venezuelans from the Chavez Revolution. The Poor people of the Bronx don't care about the Dying Venezuelan people, they don't believe or care about the Real Chavistas/Maduristas in Venezuela, of what ever they are doing to the Venezuelan people, they are being told that all are lies to discredit Chavez and his Revolution. Real Chavistas are no longer in Venezuela, but in the Bronx, USA. They received oil and help from Chavez through Venezuelan Citgo gas Company because he was very smart and he wanted to embarrassed the presidentes of the USA and Not because he had a big heart full of empathy for the Bronx Poor people!! Nicolas Maduro has done the same and that is the reason why the Bronx people won't call Chavez or Maduro a killer dictator. or any other name besides an angel send by God. The Bronx people have not suffered the uglynes of Socialismo, or Communism, the hunger many Venezuelan people suffer today, and the Bronx people have never died from not having an aspirin, or a pain pill, or from lack of Antibiotics, a vaccine, etc. While Hugo Chavez was giving the Bronx people the Venezuelan people's gas, money and apartments to live, our people in Venezuela were being killed, their lands, and businesses were taking away, some were put in prisons for opposing Chavez Revolution, many were threatened, and the Narco trafficking government got more power against the people.
That was the real Hugo chavez and Dictator Nicolas Maduro is even worst.
What the Socialist Chavismo brought to the Venezuelan people have been nothing less than suffering, hunger illnesses, ignorance, poverty, death, ruins, the destruction of Society, of the family the destruction of all the Industries, of the agriculture, the destruction of the entire country.
