I've seen a huge number of performances, live and from youtube. But this one at the Slane Castle was pure magic. Each member of the band were in state of grace.
I think that RHCP are one of the best live performers band and this one was one of the best live performance ever.

This is the best guitar tone I have ever heard in my entire life ... For a while I watched the DVD and when this song's refrain came, when Frusciante stepped on his BOSS DS-2 Turbo Distortion pedal, when I heard this sound, my eyes got wide open.

Ilasterixll..I got into the Chili Peppers late in life. Always been into music, more than most. I love this band, in particular John (fucking )Frusciante. his solo stuff has been non-stop on my list for the past 10+ years., his sound hits me like no other guitarist, Page, Trower, Stevie Ray..etc. I'm 60 and same age as the most of the band besides John, My Bday actually is the same as, god bless him, Hillel Slovaks, Your video's for this concert are by far the best out there, this is their Led Zeppelin at MSG Song Remains the Same moment, only wish I was there! Thanks for sharing this!
