How do you connected to the ACC if if you want your lights to turn on at the same time you turn on your car

i have the one with a white wire, and i follow the direction, the light turns on but the rocker switch doesnt illuminate and when i do put the red wire like as in the instruction it just stays on even with the car off. DO you think the cause of that is becuz i power directly to the battery?

I couldn’t get the accessory configuration to work. The button light would just stay on, even when the car was turned off.
