The fact I got to play with this machine loads as a kid... BLOWS MY MIND now that I know there was about 500 of them made. Still remember to this day losing countless games over those Warp Pipes, still a fun time though.

"Players can win tickets"

Then I HAVE played this! I thought I was a lunatic for remembering a Mario pinball table that have tickets.

I love obscure stuff like this. There's also a Mario-themed slot machine and a very mysterious Kirby arcade machine. Those need covering at some point. And who knows what else is out there?

I remember that particular pinball machine on El Quisco, Chile, near the fair area...
only 1 coin to play and i pulled a lot of tickets to exchange them for pop corn or cotton candy, those days were the best, sweet memories playing that machine over and over.

EDIT: this machine and a popular Mario Bros arcade with the graphics of the SNES remake in All Stars, that arcade was so hard to play that i couldn't finish a single level.

The "Pinball Hall of Fame" in Las Vegas actually has one of these, I didn't know it was rare when I played it several months ago. It's actually far too easy of a game, my first quarter got me about 15 minutes of playtime on it, mainly because the balls were constantly going into the pipes, and it's fairly easy to recover the ball from the pipe once it shoots out. So it was basically a long string of the ball falling into the pipe, it shooting out and me hitting it, then it falling into the pipe again and repeat.

A bar near me has both Super Mario Bros and Mushroom World. I love both machines a lot, but I actually enjoy Mushroom World a little bit more. Both a tons of fun though and I’d definitely recommend giving them a try if you come across them.

They have one of these at Pinball Perfection in Pittsburgh. The Space Center Arcade at Parkway Center Mall also had one when I was a kid.

Baby PAC MAN is a unique one too. Combining a super short pinball table with a full video game screen.

I went to an arcade down in Tennessee a year back. They had the original Super Mario Bros pinball machine there, and I played it the most out of all the machines there. I loved it. I wish I could go back and play it. I also got to play F-Zero AX there and that was a blast too.

At least this pinball machine is a lot better than Mario Pinball Land.

Pinballz in Austin, TX has the first Gottlieb cabinet available to play for anyone who’s ever around that area (And is a great arcade with a big selection of both new and old games in general).

I own this pin, and there is in fact a way to flip the ball to the opposite flipper. You just have to anticipate the ball coming out of the pipe, and bounce it off of the tip of the flipper. If done right, you can hold the ball and position it for the left ramp/multiball pipe.
The pipes are also not that bad. Just as it seems in the video, many models of this game are missing an important auxiliary board, which activates flashers that tell you when the ball will emerge, and from which pipe. When I first bought mine, it didn't have the board either, which made the game much more difficult.
There is actually a brighter side to it's size though; due to the shorter length, it is far less likely than a full-sized pin for your ball to suffer a "SDTM" ("straight-down-the-middle" death, which is when your ball drains after falling the length of the plafield down the center and between the flippers).
Thing is, it is likely that very little of this is known due to it's rarity.

They had this at Discovery Zone when I was a kid! I remember watching my mom play this all the time.

I remember playing this at a Disney World Hotel in '93-'94 over my summer vacation. I absolutely loved this game!

How cool! I played this one in Tokyo! As far as I know it's still there in the Decks mall arcade in Odaiba for those curious!

You definitely did your research on this pinball machine. You should do more videos on pinball machines to expand your channel's reach since entirely new pinball games are being made these days by Stern (the new Munsters game, for example, to be shown off at SFGE in Atlanta in July), Spooky Pinball, and about 4 - 6 other new companies.

I played this machine as a kid in the early to mid 90s at a local skating rink, in western MA. Interesting facts about its production numbers! Haven't seen it since, but there is a SMW machine in the Seattle area I've since encountered. Thanks for the nostalgia hit, cheers!

Awesome! Arcades should make a comeback. I miss going to them and seeing all the bright lights from the machines. I played a lot of games in arcades. I loved the one that used to be at the mall where I lived in NY.
