I like Daenerys character because it has this... chaotic good to her. She's good, but in a chaotic way. She's won most of her followers through love and admiration, and now is resorting to fear, because she knows how it works in Westeros.

No character in this series is good. There are bad characters, but there's no truly good characters, and I like how even Daenerys fits into this.

I never understood why Daenerys received so much hate for burning the Tarlys. The punishment for insubordination is death. Jon killed Janos Slynt for that, Ned killed some dude in season one for that. Like yeah, she burned them. Her house motto is ‘Fire and Blood’ after all

Reasons why I love Dany despite so many fans hating her:
-Her family once had been powerful, when she was born, she was born into a world that no longer wanted her.
-She was told by her brother that the Targaryens were the true rulers of the Seven Kingdoms, she just wanted to be accepted.
-Viserys was abusive to her, pinching her breasts, verbal insults
-She was married to Khal Drogo against her will, she was raped on their wedding day.
-As she pointed out to Jon, assassins tried to murder her since her birth
-She learned how to turn her pain into power, she was the wife of a great Khal.
-Cinderella has nothing to this rags to riches story.
-She lost everything; home, parents, brothers, husband, son. And gained everything; an army, dragons, her titles.
-Olenna approves (we love the Queen of Thorns, she and the Martells see something worth following in Daenerys).
Yes, she can be rash, impulsive, but she also listens to the pleas of her people and can be merciful. (Still impulsive, sweet, to burn the Tarlys.) She's not mad; it's war, she cannot afford to be nice all the time. If you're nice, you will die.

Everyone's complaining about her being power-hungry and so on...please just enjoy this masterpiece by a talented person who made this.. such a talent i repeated it like 100x yet <3

For the throne she deserves the throne the writers better not kill her off, we did not wait 8 years for her not to be the queen. We watched her grow, be betrayed, and become powerful. She deserves it so much #teamdaneryous

It's interesting, as when she had to kill to intimidate the Lannister-Tarly forces, her face and tone showed no pleasure. When she gave the order, it was soft, resigned. It wasn't her favored option, but she knew it had to be this way even if she wished there was another way. She didn't smile as Cersei had during the destruction caused by the Wildfire. She did it only because there was no other way.

I love how people say she is mad. Excuse me what??? She has done what needed to be done. When she killed the tarlys she wasn't smiling, she wasn't happy, go look at the scene. She doesn't like yo kill people.
Do we say that Jon is crazy because he killed a little boy?

This was so brilliantly done... her titles said by Missandei over the perfectly chosen scenes, Olenna's "Be a dragon", Dany's speech to Qarth over the scenes of her armies and dragons, followed by her speech to the Unsullied and the Dothrakis... chills everywhere. Some fans hate on her for the speeches, but I love them all (especially the one to the khalasar, echoing Drogo's promise to her), and it is extremely fitting to the character - Daenerys is a character who inspires others, a character who draws loyalty and love. This is the very essence of who she is, and your tribute displayed that perfectly and beautifully.

No other character grown so much in this series: She started as a sad and weak child tormented by her abusive brother. She was sold to Khal Drogo as an animal to be his wife. She lost her husband and also her khalasar and was left to starve to death in the desert, but instead of die she brought back dragons to life. She walked throughout Essos to learn how to be a queen. She ruled Meereen and saved all slaves in the free-cities. She reunited all Khals to her domain and was the first ruler to make them cross the Narrow Sea on the way to Westeros to play the Game of Thrones and break the wheel of power. My Queen: the Mother of Dragons, breaker of Chains, the Long life to the of Queen of Westeros!!!

why after 7 seasons of war killing and death is it suddenly an issue for daenerys to execute her enemies after she defeated them in battle.... y'all will seriously find any possible way to vilify daenerys, after she literally ended slavery.. it's mind blowing

Daenerys was never mad. She was merciful, kind, strong, smart and burned any who brought harm to her people. Season 8 through that away and turned her into a selfish-power hungry person. She didn’t want to be queen of the ashes. Long may you reign.

She was the perfect leader and not mad. She knew what had to be done and did it without ever feeling joy out of it. Her actions remind me of when Ned Stark killed the direwolf, he didn't do it for satisfaction, but because it had to be done.

She had never lost her kindness even it costed her everything, her husband, her child, her dragons, her guards, and her best friends. She always remain herself, a conqueror who are kind to her people and cruel to her enemies, she always give people chances. BOOM! So suddenly she went mad, no foreshadowing at all, no character mad arc. I love Daenerys, a queen who loved by millions and powerful enough to protect her people and rights.

They are being so unfair to Dany in season 8. She sacrificed half of her army and one of her dragons for the north, and she doesn't even get a "thank you". She lost her beloved friend Jorah, she lost another one of her dragons, and then she lost her best friend Missandei who got her head cut off right in front of her. Yet nobody respects her and nobody thanks her - all the while they call her mad. One of her advisors are scheeming to get rid of her behind her back and everyone blames her for wanting to set things on fire. If I were her and those things happened to me I'd want to burn things too. She's sacrificed lost so much in such a short span of time and yet she gets nothing back.

The writers are turning her character over and turning her into something she's not because of fanservice. 10 years of struggle from the bottom and to the power, and this is how she ends? With everyone thinking she's mad? With little to no respect? Fuck. At this point I want her to burn everything - fuck the throne.
