Rosen's cockiness and entitlement was an immediate turn-off. Even so, I am with you. It would be hilarious to see him succeed in 8 games to muddy up the waters even more with the Brown's QB situation/ storyline. Either way, imo if Watson is only out 6-8 games, that team is stacked enough to roll with Brissett and be average half the season. Assuming Watson comes back and is the same guy he was 2 years ago, average is good enough the first 8 games for Watson to come in the second half of the season and get them in the playoffs and make a run.

1. Jimmy G injury wouldn't make him ready for camp to learn a browns scheme that only needs him temporarily
2. Basically the same thing for Cam
3. Jacoby is struggling with the nee scheme so Stefanski wants another QB that's has the ability to learn the scheme on the fly. Which Josh Rosen is reported to have a tremendous QB IQ, doesn't translate to the field but let's see

Why would we look for a Deshaun replacement? We already have brissett. All we need now is a QB that’s better than/equal to Doubs to backup brissett, and that’s Josh Rosen. And if Rosen overperforms, which most likely won’t happen, we have a decent backup to Deshaun.
